Mercury Divers Co. Ltd. was founded in Famagusta in 1969, by Mr. P.D.Orphanides, as Marine and Underwater Consultants Engineers and Underwater Contractors and Surveyors.
In 1974, after the Turkish invasion of the island of Cyprus, the company made a shift from its original core business activities to the trade of diving and marine (yachting) equipment,  navigation equipment and industrial safety equipment.

Dive In runs at least 4 PADI IDC's in Cyprus (Instructor Development Courses) training divers to become a PADI Professional Diving Instructor.
